Q: What is DistroKid's Refer and Earn program?

DistroKid's Refer and Earn program rewards existing customers for introducing new ones. You share your personal referral code or link, and when a friend joins DistroKid through it and completes the qualifying step, the referral reward is unlocked. The reward for the new customer: 7% off first year (50% with Student link). The reward for the person referring: $10 per paid signup. GiveRefer collects DistroKid referral codes shared by its community so you can find one before you sign up, or share your own.

Q: When will I receive my DistroKid referral reward?

DistroKid's payout terms: Up to 3 months after the friend signs up for a paid account. A reward that has not arrived is most often because the friend has not yet completed the qualifying step.

Other Software brands with referral programmes on GiveRefer include Ditto Music, Dreamstime, Dscout, Fastmail and Filmora. Each page lists community-shared referral codes and that brand's reward terms, so you can compare what you and your friends would earn.

About DistroKid

DistroKid's $10 doesn't post right away -- it can take up to 3 months after your referred friend signs up for a paid account before it appears.

DistroKid distributes music to Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms. Click your profile picture and select "Refer friends, get $10", or go directly to distrokid.com/referrals, where three separate referral links are available: DistroKid, DistroVid/Mixea, and Student.

A friend who signs up for a paid DistroKid or DistroVid/Mixea account through your link gets 7% off their first year, and you earn $10. A friend using your Student link (requiring a valid student email) gets 50% off their first year instead.

Referral earnings may not appear in your account until 3 months after the referred person signs up for a paid account.
